  5. Canasta is being released as shareware.  Copies may be
  6. distributed by BBSes, FTP sites, CD-ROMs, disk vendors, etc..., with
  7. the following conditions:

  14.   HISTORY.TXT     - Version history of Canasta
  15.   FILE_ID.DIZ    - Brief description of the program for BBS use

  17.   REGISTER.TXT   - Registration form
  18.   README.TXT     - Short Information file 
  19.   INSTALL.EXE     - Windows-based install program
  20.   ABOUT.WAV     - Sound files
  21.   HAHA.WAV
  22.   HISCORE.WAV
  23.   MIXED.WAV 
  24.   NATURAL.WAV
  25.   NOWAY.WAV
  26.   SHUFL.WAV
  27.   UHUH.WAV
  28.   WELCOME.WAV

  31. - The following file may be excluded from the package, PROVIDED THAT IT IS
  32.   ALWAYS AVAILABLE SEPARATELY FROM THE SAME LOCATION AS THE 'STRIPPED' 
  33.   PACKAGE (Canasta does not run without it):

  35.   BWCC.DLL     - Borland Windows Custom Controls file

  37. - When distributed inside a compressed file, the prefix of that file
  38.   should be CANAS21.
  39.  
  40. - The package should be listed under the name "Canasta 2.1 Windows cardgame"

  42. - Vendors who have a copy which is dated more than 1 year ago should check
  43.   to see if there is a newer edition before distributing the package.

  45. - Any vendor publication which lists CANASTA must clearly have an
  46.   explanation of the shareware concept.  This information must be
  47.   visible to customers before they pay a fee to the vendor.

  49. - The abstract in the FILE_ID.DIZ file contains text recommended
  50.   for use as a description for this package.

  52. - This package should not be bundled as part of another product
  53.   without permission.

  55. - CANASTA is copyrighted shareware.  It should never be classified as
  56.   public domain or free software.
  57.  
  58. - License for the registered version is not transferable.

  60. - This package must not be rented or leased.

  62. - Those who benefit from the uses of CANASTA are expected to
  63.   register with the author.  Users are given a 21 day evaluation
  64.   period.  The registration form can be printed by typing
  65.   "COPY REGISTER.TXT PRN" at the DOS prompt.

  68.   this program are VERY MUCH encouraged to send me a copy of the
